Altar Boyz

The musical Altar Boyz is in town so me and a few friends decided to go see it. The show has 5 guys named Mark, Matthew, Luke, Juan, and Abraham who talk about God and religion but in a boy band way. When we got to the theater, the house music was Backstreet Boys and N*sync. We all sang along to those. But the plot of the show is trying to get rid of the sins that were in the room. There was a counter thing that showed how many people were good so they would sing a song and try to make more people good. There was not a lot of dialog but the songs were hilarious. There was one about what to do in church that said "stand up, sit down, and kneel." There was also a song where one of the boys admits he is Catholic. So he sings about things Catholic people do. It was a really funny show. It was in a small theater and we sat in the front row so we were able to interact with the cast when they were on stage. I would recommend going to see this show if it is ever playing where you are. If you are still interested after my terrible plot synopsis, just go listen to the songs.
