We
all got up really early to head to Naseby to go curling and luging. On the way
there we stopped at Moeraki
boulders. Since I don’t know much about geology all I can say about them is
that they are really large boulders on a beach that are fun to climb on.
We got back on the bus and headed up to Naseby. We did not get very far before we were told that chains were required and the roads were just really bad. So we could not make it to Naseby. Since we were in Palmerston, Josh thought that we should hike up to a monument that overlooks the city. We all started up through the fields (there was no trail) until about half way up when it started to sleet and snow. About half of us decided to head back down while about 8 of them kept going. They made it to the top but it started snowing sideways on them. After this we headed back to Dunedin.
